Philing Milano represents a project where the client’s vision was fully realised through MGS’s extensive expertise in processing natural stone.
Formerly known as the Memo Restaurant, the venue underwent a complete renovation that redefined its identity and architectural language, transforming it into a premier space for private events.
MGS – Marble & Granite Service S.r.l. oversaw the creation of two backlit Citrino Crystal bar counters, the centrepiece of the Philing Milano interior. To meet the client’s request for a curved design, MGS applied its finest craftsmanship, precisely assembling multiple transverse elements. This technical and creative challenge was overcome through the company’s vision and profound mastery of natural stone.
The backlighting enhances the crystal’s organic veins and textures, diffusing a warm, golden glow that defines the atmosphere.
The second MGS intervention focused on the restroom areas: here, Lumix Crystal was used with book-matched continuity and front-facing backlighting. For the entrance floors and wall features, polished Graffiti Crystal was selected. The large backlit wall framing the triple-basin washbasin—also crafted in Citrino Crystal—is further complemented by Graffiti Crystal, ensuring a harmonious design that elevates raw materials into a luxurious, relaxing environment.
