Bespoke project in Antwerp: Nero Marquina meets sartorial architecture by Dieter Vander Velpen
In an elegant residential development in Antwerp, MGS had the honor of collaborating with Dieter Vander Velpen Architects, renowned for their essential and refined aesthetic.
The project, commissioned by Il Granito Natursteen BVBA, involved the custom fabrication of elements in Nero Marquina, an iconic stone characterized by its bold white veining, standing out for its intensity and character.
The Nero Marquina, carefully selected by MGS, was employed to create a bathroom space where luxury and functionality blend in harmony.
The stone clads the interior of the shower and the finest details of the bathroom, transforming every surface into a bold architectural statement. The material’s deep black tone interacts with contemporary lines and rigorous volumes, enhancing the architect’s design vision and the client’s desire for an exclusive, intimate, and sophisticated environment.
